Dear Heart,
You are an idiot sometimes. I hate how thoughtless you can be, and I resent your lack of judgement. It’s strange how you are going from one extreme to the next, being so quick to embrace some things while turning stone cold at the thought of other things. Your moodiness and fickle nature has caused your inclinations to fall on deaf ears…I have not listened to you in quite some time. I’ve been with my mind, but thinking of you the whole time. I can never forgive you for the feelings that have resulted from your foolish inclinations. I will never heal from the first time you broke me. One day you will find someone who thinks you are beautiful and perfect…I believe the only way to find this person is to put my head first and you second. My head is smarter than you, and knows what’s best for you. I do hope you can understand, and that you can cooperate. This will one day make us both happy.
